About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP Registered and Senior Accredited Counsellor (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). My theoretical model of training is a Person Centred Approach, however I integrate other models of therapy such as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Transactional Analysis, therefore allowing freedom and flexibility to work in a way which best suits the individual.
I have practised as a Counsellor for 16 years in a wide range of settings including the Voluntary Sector, NHS, Primary and Secondary Education. Working in Primary Care Mental Health, Addiction Recovery Projects, Sexual Health, Womens Services, Hostels and GP Practices.
