About me and my therapy practice

I qualified as a Counsellor in 2000, training in Humanistic Integrative Counselling, grounded in a Person Centred approach. I work with adult men and women of all ages and many cultural backgrounds. Currently employed by a local Counselling service, Employee Assistance Program and in private practice. I have specialized experience of working with Domestic Abuse, Mindfulness, Relaxation techniques and The Rewind technique.

I believe that each person has within themselves the answer to their difficulties. Counselling can help you to explore your thoughts, emotions and behaviours , to enable you to recognise  your options and discover the possibilities of moving forwards in a positive way. To deepen your self awareness and develop compassionate self acceptance, to enhance a sense of inner peace and calm.

My first session

The first session will be an assessment, to explore the issues that bring to counselling at this time and to see if we feel comfortable to work together.
