About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified Integrative Therapist with over two decades of experience working with adults, couples, adolescents, and young children. My practice addresses a wide range of mental health concerns, including bereavement, complex grief, addiction, trauma, PTSD, and anxiety as well as individuals wanting to have a greater understanding of their thoughts, feelings and actions or just to become the best version of themselves.

My self-awareness, shaped by life experiences and self-reflection, enables me to create a non-judgmental, empathetic environment. This allows me to understand individual needs and adapt my approach accordingly intuitively.

It is a privilege to hear your story and offer a supportive, respectful space to build a strong therapeutic alliance. My practice is ethically grounded, evidenced by my BACP accreditation and adherence to the BACP Ethical Framework.

Practice description

By employing an integrative approach, a blend of therapeutic theories, sessions are tailored to your needs. My role is to reflect my understanding of your experiences and perceptions, helping you gain insight into yourself and your impact on others. As I listen for the music behind your words, together we will uncover the roots of your feelings, fostering self-awareness and growth. Prioritising your unique needs and individuality is central to our collaborative journey towards healing.

I also modify my approach for clients who may be neurodivergent, striving to create a safe and supportive environment for growth and healing.

If you have any questions about my practice, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I provide a 30-minute initial telephone consultation, with no obligation, to discuss your needs and address any questions you may have. If we proceed, we can arrange an initial session to finalise our working agreement.

About me and my therapy practice

As an Integrative Psychological Therapist (BACP Accred.) and CPCAB Clinical Supervisor with decades of experience providing a therapeutic service in a variety of settings, I specialise in working with adults, adolescents, children and young people.

Whether conducting individual or group supervision, I pride myself on fostering an empowering environment where you can confidently explore your clinical skills and address challenges openly.

Through our regular meetings, I aim to help you integrate your intuitive capabilities within your clinical model. We will delve into the dynamics between you and your clients, uncovering what each session teaches you.

I’ll strive to make each session engaging, informative and supportive, while authentically adhering to a coherent supervision framework that employs a range of methods and interventions.

As a supervisor in counselling and psychotherapy, I find great fulfilment in nurturing the professional growth of both aspiring therapists and seasoned counsellors.

Utilising the ‘Seven-Eyed’ Supervision Model, we will shift between various focal points of therapy, considering perspectives that may not be immediately apparent.
