About me and my therapy practice
How often do we get really listened to? It can take courage to say what we need especially when we may not know what our needs are. I am an experienced counsellor and aim to provide an accepting, supportive, confidential and safe space to enable discussion about any issues that are causing concern.
I work both short term and long term depending on the needs of my client and I value and respect our counselling relationship, which is so important in the success of therapy. I am flexible in the way I shape and tailor the sessions around each client's needs as much as possible, as everybody is an individual.
I am an accredited and registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and a qualified supervisor. I abide by the BACP Code of Ethics. I also previously have had over 10 years of experience working in NHS settings.
I am happy to see clients in person in Canterbury city centre and also happy to work online using Zoom to fit round client preference as much as possible.
Do phone and leave me a message if I am not able to answer straight away and I will get back to you as soon as I can. I am also happy to respond via text or email.

About me and my therapy practice
I have a Cascade Diploma in Supervision and have been supervising since 2010, working in the NHS and now as an independent practitioner. I am experienced in working with both newly qualified and experienced counsellors and also with trainees.
I have an integrative theoretical base with humanistic and psychodynamic models as my foundation. My main focus in supervision is about ensuring a safe, supportive space for the co-creation of the relationship, based on mutual openness, trust and respect.
I am also very happy to work creatively at times to encourage possible right brain insights.
Since the start of Covid I have been using Zoom for supervision sessions and am happy to continue to use on line supervision if that is easier for my supervisee, though meeting in person may also be possible again now.
