About me and my therapy practice
I come from a background of social work having worked with some very vulnerable children and adults in in the late 70's and throughout the 80's. This work sparked my interest in attachment patterns and the impact of our parents on our development and on our choice of partners later on in life. I left social work to focus exclusively on the therapeutic side of my work and with over thirty years of experience in this field I continue to be inspired by the people I meet . Whilst I have gained experience in a variety of fields I continue to believe that the relationship between counsellor and client is the single most important cornerstone for change and this belief is an enduring one. My work is therefore guided by this.
I reserve a few late night slots during the week for those who work far afield and parking outside my home is freely available.
