About me and my therapy practice
I offer both short and long-term psychotherapy and counselling in an inclusive, non-judgmental environment in which we can work together to better understand whatever might be troubling you.
As a modern and forward-thinking practitioner I will work collaboratively with you, focusing on developing an honest therapeutic relationship based on mutual respect. I do this by talking together about you and your life. In this way, you can begin to better understand the difficulties you may be having and the reasons they persist.
You may be considering therapy because of an existing mental health issue. It could be that you are feeling anxious or depressed. Perhaps a specific event has triggered some difficult emotions, or maybe you are not sure why you feel like you do?
Modern life, particularly in a big city, can be hard to navigate. The pressures of juggling work, relationships and socialising in the digital age may feel isolating and you don’t know who to talk to. I hope that whatever has brought you to counselling, you can talk to me.
On contacting me, we can arrange an initial meeting which will give you the chance to meet me and for us to discuss how we may best work together. There is no obligation to continue with ongoing therapy after this meeting.
In these uncertain and anxious times, with Covid forcing us to isolate ourselves and be less connected, I am able to offer online therapy to help you through this uncertain time. This would either be through video or telephone sessions depending on your access to the internet.
Practice description
I have an MSc in psychodynamic counselling and psychotherapy as well as a diploma in counselling. I also have a BA in history of art. I am a registered member of the BACP (MBACP) and fully abide by their code of ethics within my practice.

Before training I spent many years in various demanding business roles and thus have a wide range of experience working with individuals and in organisations within and beyond the field of psychotherapy.
