About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP Accredited integrative therapist. I am predominantly Person Centred and also incorporate Cognitive Behavioural Therapies, Psychodynamic and Transactional Analysis models to our work.
I work alongside you to address wellness, relationships, personal growth and mental health. Counselling is a process in which we meet to explore your personal problems and try to identify solutions. Throughout the therapy we work together to attempt to improve the difficulties you are encountering through communication and problem solving.
We would work on building a positive therapeutic relationship so that you feel able, and comfortable, in talking about the difficulties you have undergone or are currently undergoing. We will work together in helping you to see things more clearly and, possibly, from a different view point.
I am currently offering therapy online or by telephone.
Practice description
I am an empathic counsellor and will meet you where you are at. I am able to work both short term and long term. Throughout the process I will check in with you to see where you are at and how you would like to proceed.
I am experienced in bereavement work with adults.
I have been working, for several years, as a counsellor and supervisor with a charity that specialises in survivors of childhood sexual abuse and domestic violence.
My first session
Our first session together would be a free 1/2 hour assessment in order to learn what it is that has brought you to therapy and what you would like to get out of it.
It would be your space to ask questions about the therapeutic work and get a sense of me in order to decide whether you would like to work with me.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP Accredited integrative therapist and have trained and qualified as a Supervisor.
Although I am an Integrative counsellor, I lean more towards a Person Centred approach for the majority of my work. I tend to meet supervisees where they are at; you bring to the session what you want to bring. I give you the space to talk about your work and concerns. We discuss what may be going on with clients and concerns as professional therapists as equals.
I work with UPR and respect with all my supervisees. You are working with your clients and will know them best. I work with you to explore what you think is going on and also give you an opportunity to voice your own feelings and thoughts about the work; what you feel is going on for you and for your clients.
I am currently offering therapy online or by telephone in order to reduce the risk of Coronavirus contagion.
Practice description
I offer a safe and confidential space for my supervisees to meet with me as professional therapists to discuss clients, client work and any ongoing concerns they have within their counselling work.
I am experienced in bereavement work with adults and children and young people.
I currently work with a charity which specialises in survivors of childhood sexual abuse and domestic violence. I have several years experience in working within this field.
I have also worked within an NHS Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service. I have trained and am qualified in Person Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression working with clients in this way for up to 20 sessions.
I offer Supervision to individuals and groups (no more than 4 in a group). I am happy to discuss concessions for student therapists.
