About me and my therapy practice
My private practice is based at Burscough Counselling Service
I am a Person Centred counsellor and an Accredited & Registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) with over eighteen years’ experience of working in various settings. My experience includes working as a counsellor in the NHS for fifteen years, a Bereavement Service , Student Counselling in a Further Education College and currently work as an associate Counsellor and Supervisor for Universities and Colleges together with Employment Assistance Programme Providers.
Practice description
I work with individual clients aged 16+ who face a range of many difficult personal issues, including anxiety, stress, depression (for which I hold a qualification in Counselling for Depression), anger, bereavement, relationship and sexual issues.
As a Person Centred counsellor I offer you a warm, non-judgemental and safe environment where we can explore the life difficulties that you are experiencing, moving towards a more beneficial quality of life.
An important part of my counselling practice includes working with couples who are encountering relationship difficulties, together we can explore any problems that are happening within your relationship.
