About me and my therapy practice
Face-to-Face, Online, Telephone
I offer 1:2:1 person-centred/solution focused counselling and I am based in Formby (near Ormskirk, Southport and Crosby) am accredited with the BACP and registered with BUPA.
I qualified in 2010 and have experience of working in both private and voluntary sectors before opening my private practice.
I have BA (Hons) in Counselling and my work experience includes working in: Social Services, Domestic Violence and Palliative Care with my last role managing a busy counselling team whilst providing emotional support to patients and their families with end of life and into bereavement.
My private practice offers a safe space to explore and work through issues that may have become overwhelming to manage, at a pace that suits you.
I work with a variety of private (self referrals) and professional referrals including the Police and NHS staff, Victim Support, BUPA and Employment Assistance Programmes.
An assessment of needs is carried out on the first visit along with Trauma screening.
I work Mon, Tue, Thur & Friday with a few evening appointments available.
Stress, life changes, bereavements, divorce, addictions, family issues and workplace difficulties can all contribute to low moods, increased anxiety, and loss of energy, focus and motivation.
Counselling provides a confidential space and time to talk, where you can begin to feel supported and heard, and gain the self insight you need to help you to move forward.
I respond promptly to all enquiries and am happy to answer any questions you may have.
Parking available on Queens Road. DBS checked.
In addition to this I am a Natural Health Practitioner registered with the FHT and Kinesiology Assoc.
