About me and my therapy practice
I have been working as a counsellor since 1997. My clients have told me they value the warm and reflective space I provide that enables them to express and work through their issues.
The theoretical basis for my work is the belief that, given the right conditions, the mind can find its own healing by tapping into implicit wisdom and knowledge. I see my role as that of the facilitator, listening carefully and guiding this process where needed, with experience of knowing where to look and what to look for.
Each journey, however, is individual. I look forward to sharing a part of your journey with you.
Practice description
I am using both Zoom (https://zoom.us/) and working face-to-face. Let me know which you prefer.
My counselling room is set up to meet current Covid guidelines. Seats are 2 m apart; the room is ventilated before use, and I will have a HEPA filter on.
The room is also wheelchair accessible, but please alert me before arriving.
My first session
I offer the first session at the reduced fee of £40.
The first session gives us the opportunity to discuss if I am the right counsellor for you, to clarify how we will work together, and to also begin our work together.
I allow 60 minutes for this session.
