About me and my therapy practice
Do you feel you have to put on a face in the morning so that the people around you can’t see how much you’re struggling? If you can identify with this then maybe the time is right for you to seek counselling. I can offer a space that is entirely yours for you to express your feelings without fear of being judged, talked over or disbelieved.
Practice description
I’m a person-centred counsellor with an interest in early trauma, but I have worked with a variety of clients on things such as anxiety, depression, social anxiety and low self-esteem. I enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds including members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I like to work at the pace of my clients, to build a strong therapeutic relationship so they can feel safe and supported to explore their past, present and look to their future.
My first session
I work in Causewayside, at The Edinburgh Counselling Studio, in a quiet and confidential space or we can meet online if meeting remotely is better for you.
We will talk about what brings you to counselling, what you would like to work on and any questions you may have. If we decide that we might be a good fit for each other, then I will support you to look at yourself and work with what we find. My sessions last an hour and will be in the same place at the same time each week.

About me and my therapy practice
I can offer a safe, supportive and collaborative space for you to explore what is happening in the counselling room with your clients. My focus is on your thoughts and feelings and what those might mean when you are working with your clients.

If you are looking for a supervisor, then we can arrange an initial chat to explore if we might be a good fit for each other. I can offer a free 20 minute chat over Zoom.
