About me and my therapy practice
I am an approachable and practical counsellor. With a wide range of experience in different settings and with different issues I would be happy for you to get in touch to discuss what is troubling you at the moment.
I have particular experience in bereavement and loss, relationships issues, problems at work and people at a crossroads in their life or life stage changes. I can also offer coaching.
I also have a strong interest in problems arising from pregnancy birth and parenting, including when things don’t go to plan (eg the death of a child, difficulties with pregnancy, premature birth or miscarriage) and difficult family relationships.
I am fully trained to work online and am a senior professional member of ACTO
I see both individuals and couples and one-off sessions are sometimes available with me.
I am happy to work with young people over the age of 18.
Practice description
I am a fully trained counsellor registered and accredited by the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
My style is interactive with a practical, common sense conversational approach. I think it is important to work in a collaborative and encouraging way. One size does not fit all, I therefore work in an integrative way to work with you in a way that suits your needs.
Working with individuals or couples I can offer both short and long term therapy depending on your requirements. I do sometimes offer one-off appointments or a shot MoT style package to carry out a quick 'life laundry'. I can work in a solution focused way on a specific issue or in a more general way on lots of issues.

About me and my therapy practice
As a trained and qualified supervisor I can offer supervision to other counsellors, trainees therapists, teachers or healthcare or any professionals working in a caring or supportive role either as individuals or small groups.
I work in an integrative way drawing on lots of different trainings and working environments both counselling and supervisory. I can supervise your work with individuals or couples.
Supervision is a space for you to reflect on your work to learn and grow and to feel supported. It is a chance for you to step outside your work and talk about areas you are not able to discuss with others due to confidentiality. There are often patterns and themes in your work which may become apparent. It can be interesting to see how these relate to your own personal circumstances.
It provides you with a space to share all aspects of your work with clients or people you are supporting as well as considering any ethical or boundary or organisational issues.
I am a non judgemental encouraging supervisor and work in a practical conversational way and hope our work together will enable you to feel supported and be able to grow. Most importantly it is part of your self care.
I offer face to face supervision as well as online supervision. This is both supervision online and supervision for online work. I am fully qualified to offer both and am a senior professional member of ACTO
I currently work with a range of levels of experience from trainees to experienced counsellors and a variety of orientations.
