About me and my therapy practice
I know how hard it can be to reach out and take the first step when you need help. Consequently, I work integratively which means that I am flexible and will work with you however you feel and with whatever you bring. I don’t expect you to fit a particular type of therapy, I expect the therapy to fit you and so I will create a therapeutic intervention based upon your specific needs, for you alone. If you want to simply talk. I will listen. If you want to understand or address an issue in more depth, I will help you to do that. I work long-term, short-term or for a pre-determined number of sessions, depending upon what best suits your needs and your wishes. I offer a confidential service in a discreet and comfortable location where you can be yourself safe in the knowledge that you will be understood and not judged. My qualifications are:

About me and my therapy practice
A supervisor is someone who you can confidently take your problems to as well as your triumphs. I have supervised therapists and students working in the NHS, universities, schools, bereavement charities, addiction centres, women’s charities, the workplace, prisons, government agencies/local authorities and in mental health. I have managed a counselling service in an organisation as well as running a private practice. Supervision is essential for both therapists and the profession moving forward. I have years of experience and still feel a buzz of excitement when I see someone taking their first professional steps into the world of counselling and psychotherapy.
If you are a student, I will help you to become a good counsellor/psychotherapist. If you are experienced, I will help you to maintain your professionalism and support you in a difficult and often changing world.
