About me and my therapy practice
I am a Senior Counsellor SPECIALISING IN: ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, RELATIONSHIPS, SELF DEVELOPMENT AND HEALING FROM THE PAST.
I have over 25 years of Clinical experience to support you in the areas of your life where you feel stuck or traumatised, and to help you build more Self-Confidence to move forwards with Clarity and increased Self-Awareness.
I specialise in both Short Term and Long term therapy models, to support you with Anxiety, Anger or Depression, Relationship issues, Self-Sabotaging behaviours and building Self Esteem.
My style of therapy is interactive and relational. I'm interested in us talking together to make sense of what is going on for you at this time and to look at the growth or healing you wish for yourself.

Practice description
Over the years I have had numerous professional trainings in different therapeutic models so I work with a broad range of approaches - including Internal Family Systems Therapy, Solution Focussed techniques, Compassion Focussed therapy and Life Coaching etc, however my core training is in Psychosynthesis - an approach acknowledging the distress and pain of your current struggles but which also holds a wider perspective… What is going on here? Why is this happening? What is trying to grow or needs changing? What do I need to let go of here?...
Therefore, what is troubling you currently, may be the very thing that can lead to a positive change, psychological growth and personal fulfilment.
In therapy we can sometimes reflect on the past in order to make sense of your experiences today. Where and why you learned what you believe about yourself still today and how that might hold you back or shape your choices. It can help you make sense of your ideals or expectations in your relationships and beliefs about people etc.....
We look at what is triggering you to understand how your potential could be held back by your past and what you may need to let go of, befriend or to reclaim to be happier...
It can be useful to reflect on your beliefs about yourself and others and what you may be still holding on to from your history. This clarity can be the first step to change.....
The primary focus of our therapy sessions will really be with where you are now and where and how you to live your life going forwards...To get to know the different narratives you have about yourself and to give all the different parts some space for reflection….
I offer a warm and empathic listening ear and engaging with you in conversation to support you towards something new. Together we can talk about practical ways to help you so you can live a more fulfilling, happier life - functioning in the way you want to be operating.

I offer a relational, interactive conversation where you will be heard and engaged with on the issues you are bringing for clarity and change.
It is always best to take an initial session to see if you feel an alliance is going to be possible for you between us. An initial session is a good place to see if there might be fit for you and discuss your clinical aims and the best way forwards

I am a Senior Counsellor of 27 years using Internal Family Systems therapy model. I specialising in: Anxiety, Relationships, Legacy Burdens, Depression and Trauma. My style is interactive and relational - together us having conversations to make sense of your concerns, behaviour and feelings.

* Understanding your Anxiety, Worries and Stress and exploring ways to manage panic and concerns. * Low Mood, Sadness and Depression. * Endings, Loss and Bereavement. * Relationship issues. * Childhood and historic issues. * Self-Confidence and Self-Esteem issues.

Our first session is a conversation for you to let me know the struggles and issues you are bringing and for us to meet and look at ways in which I may be able to support you.
It is important to feel you resonate with your therapist although it can take some time to build up that special relationship of trust and authenticity.
I like to offer something useful to you in every session we have. I'm interested to support you in a warm, and empathic relational way - so it's a conversation together.
