About me and my therapy practice
As an experienced Humanistic and Integrative Counsellor, I trained in a range of different approaches to Counselling, and integrate the best elements into my work. My primary focus is on being with you as a human being, responding to what you bring.Im a registered Barnardos link therapist, covered by Ofsted to work with all aspects of adoption
Practice description
Being spiritually awake and fascinated by people and their behaviour, I treat every human being individually. My wish has always been to connect more authentically in whatever situation I’m in. I have a strong holistic approach, being aware of the link between our mind and body. I am interested in how energy manifests in the body, that maybe affecting any health issue. I draw strength and inspiration from the natural world and regularly practice Transcendental meditation and yoga.My first session
In our first session, I will ask a lot more questions, Im trying to gather as much back ground information as possible, I will use pen and paper in the session. Its a good opportunity too for you to ask me questions about our work together, and anything else. The initial session is different from ongoing sessions in that sense. We can try to agree a time that suits if you decide to work with me, or you may need to go away and have a think then come back to me.
Its important that you feel comfortable with me and the way that I work - sometimes this takes more than one session.

About me and my therapy practice
As an experienced Humanistic and Integrative Counsellor, I trained in a range of different approaches to Counselling, and integrate the best elements into my work. My primary focus is on being with you as a human being, responding to what you bring.
Practice description
I have two practices. One from home in Newton St Loe BA2 , and a practice in Clifton, Bristol BS8. I provide 1:1 counselling for adults, either in person, or online Zoom. I draw strength and inspiration from the natural world and regularly practice Transcendental meditation and yoga.
My first session
When you are ready to seek counselling with me, please contact me via email or my mobile so we can begin to discuss what you are looking to get out of counselling. I will arrange an assessment and initial consultation with you, where you can find out more about me and how I work I will ask questions and take notes, and answer any questions that you may have about me and my work. This session gives you the opportunity to explain how you would like to use the sessions. If you decide you would like to work with me, we will arrange weekly sessions (lasting 50 mins) in a short or long term arrangement. I will ask you to agree and sign a working contract.
During the first session, I will explain and give an outline of what Id like to achieve in administration and what we will need to talk about next, and give you the opportunity to chose how you would like the session to run. I will need to ask you some personal details, contact, GP details. I will write these details down for my own safe keeping, and I will take a few notes and fill in an assessment form. We will need to ensure there is time to discuss how you are feeling and what you are bringing to the counselling room.
