About me and my therapy practice

I offer a specialist clinic for people struggling with their relationship with food and body image. You may have been diagnosed with an eating disorder or just instinctively know that your relationship with food is unhealthy and have a wish to explore this. I have been working in this field for over 18 years, supporting local families, adolescents and adults through a variety of eating disorders (anorexia nervosa, binge eating disorder, bulimia nervosa, ARFID) and aim to accompany individuals and families as they navigate their recovery journey.

Holding an MSc in Eating Disorders & Clinical Nutrition, I combine evidence based treatment (MANTRA, CBT-e, FBT, CBT-ARFID) with further trainings in obesity, nutritional interventions, neurodiversity and breathwork.  I work as the Clinical Supervisor for Beat (the National Eating Disorder charity) and am the Clinical Lead at NPAS the national pica charity - to put it another way, I am passionate about empowering people to gain strength and wellness in their bodies and most of all freedom from their unhealthy eating behaviours.

I am particularly interested in the link between neurodiversity and eating behaviour and am researching therapeutic interventions for individuals with ADHD who struggle with binge eating.

I have a private practice in Penzance and Scorrier and am also available for on-line Zoom sessions.

I also have a keen interest in running and polar adventure.   I believe there is no better place than Cornwall to provide a truly holistic approach to recovery, including all elements of lifestyle with so many opportunities to explore wellbeing and rebuild our personal, social and communal lives.
