About me and my therapy practice
I am a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) accredited cognitive behavioural therapist, with a special interest and understanding of addiction and anxiety. My experience comes from working within residential rehabilitation in the treatment of alcohol and drug addiction as well as on a one-to-one basis.
I have over 20 years of experience of the 12-Step Minnesota model.
Since qualifying 15 years ago, I have worked with clients presenting with a variety of difficulties including stress, anxiety, depression, addiction and low self esteem and feel that my strength is in creating a safe and empathetic environment for individuals to explore their difficulties.
Practice description
My practice is grounded in offering a safe and ethical space to explore your current difficulties. I work in a solution focused way to help discover the areas that maybe holding individuals back in life.
