About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified and registered integrative counsellor working with adults and young people.
Reaching out for help can feel daunting, but counselling can provide a safe space to explore any difficulties you may be experiencing. I will offer you an empathetic, person-centred approach and we will work together to explore and gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your behaviours.
How we work will be guided by you and your goals, tailoring the sessions to meet your needs. I am able to provide short term, focussed therapy or long-term work.
I have experience of working with self-esteem and confidence, depression, anxiety, grief, abuse and trauma among other things. As well as private practice I also work in the charity sector with survivors of sexual violence and have worked within schools and charities with adolescents.
My first session
I offer a short telephone consultation for free where you can ask questions and get a chance to see if we are a good fit.
The first session consists of getting to know you, including an assessment that helps me to understand how you are currently coping and what you are looking for from our sessions together.
