I currently work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and FridayAbout me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified counsellor with over 20 years experience of helping people from all walks of life.
I hold a degree level qualification (Post Graduate Diploma) in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am also an accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and comply with their Code of Ethics.
I offer a confidential, non-judgemental and inclusive counselling service in a peaceful and comfortable setting in Broxbourne and Stanstead Abbotts (near Ware) where I have my own dedicated therapy room at the Maltings Business Centre.
Practice description
I work with individuals or couples on either a short term basis (approximately 6-12 sessions) or in an open ended way, depending on your needs.
My preference is for sessions to be face to face, however I can also offer online counselling (e.g. Skype or WhatsApp).
My first session
Once you have contacted me for counselling, we can set up a short free introductory call to discuss availability and to see if I am the right counsellor for you. We can then set up an initial consultation which is chargeable at my normal rates.
This is a chance for us to get to know each other further, for me to share more about my approach and to see if counselling is the right option for you.
What I can help with
Abuse, Addictions, Anxiety, Bereavement, Cultural issues, Depression, Eating disorders, Identity issues, Infertility, LGBTQ+ counselling, Loss, Men's issues, Obsessions, OCD, Phobias, Post-traumatic stress, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Service veterans, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Substance Dependency, Trauma, Women's issues
