About me and my therapy practice
Developing a deeper understanding of your own emotions, behaviour or thoughts is the key to making positive life changes and through a trusting relationship with the right therapist you can achieve that understanding.
I am a qualified, experienced certified transactional analyst CTA(P) and qualified psychotherapist (MSc Psych) and offer a warm, understanding, confidential and non-judgemental environment within which you can explore uncomfortable or painful aspects of your life to help you to develop that understanding and achieve those positive changes.
I think that finding the right therapist is like shopping for the right pair of shoes: you may have to try a few before you find the perfect fit. For this reason I do offer a free initial consultation so that you can get a feel for how I work and decide whether I am somebody you could work with.
I work hard to maintain the highest professional standards and attend regular monthly supervision.
Practice description
I run my own private psychotherapy practice from home.
My client work has covered a broad spectrum of issues including depression, loss, grief, anxiety, anger, shame and relationship issues. I have significant experience with issues around narcissistic abuse and regularly work with narcissistic abuse survivors.
I am a qualified psychotherapist (MSc Psych) and certified transactional analyst CTA(P). I actively attend ongoing training to ensure that I continue to improve my counselling skills.
I have undertaken further training in Couples Counselling, Gestalt and CBT approaches to counselling.
My first session
I think that finding the right therapist is like shopping for the right pair of shoes: you may have to try a few before you find the perfect fit. For this reason I do offer a free initial consultation so that you can get a feel for how I work and decide whether I am somebody you could work with.
I work hard to maintain the highest professional standards and attend regular monthly supervision. I am also a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
If you have any questions or would like to arrange an initial session you are more than welcome to contact me via phone or email.
