About me and my therapy practice
I am working online as well as in person.
Whatever you are going through right now may be weighing you down. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression or loss I will tailor the therapy around your current situation and what you want to work on. You don’t have to come to therapy with any of the answers, or even know what you want to change. Just by being open to the idea of talking and exploring your thoughts is enough to begin.
I am committed to helping people understand themselves, find meaning and live better lives, and believe that therapy is most impactful when the fit is right between therapist and client.
Asking for help is an act of strength not weakness. Sometimes we struggle to make sense of what is going on in our lives, when perhaps that spark or joy we once experienced seems to have faded. My aim is for you to regain a sense of optimism, by helping you to work through issues that you believe are holding you back.
Practice description
Whether in person or online I can provide a safe space for you to explore and share your thoughts and concerns, I might challenge you but only when you are ready, as you are the expert on you, even if you don’t always believe this.
I am an Integrative Psychosynthesis counsellor and an accredited member of the BACP, and have had over 20 years experience. I have worked within the Charitable sector as well as working in a GP practice and my own private practice.
I accept referrals from major insurance providers such as Aviva, Axa Health, Vitality Health.
