About me and my therapy practice
Do you want to be able to better manage anxious feelings, or to understand yourself and your relationships more, or maybe there is a specific issue causing you pain or unhappiness? I offer a safe space for you or your child to work through any challenges or difficulties.
My role as therapist is to provide the compassionate, safe space for you to explore the aspects of your life that are preventing you from feeling at your best: those creating stress, tension, unhappiness or loneliness.
As an integrative therapist, I draw on a variety of therapies including person-centred therapy, psychodynamic theory, CBT, NLP and creative approaches. This allows me to work in a way which best fits the needs and goals of my individual clients. The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work, supporting you in working towards your goals & lasting change in your life.
Alongside counselling, I have qualifications in, trauma-informed practice, Emotional Freedom Technique and using NLP in therapy. I am also a member of the International Coaching Federation.
My first session
I appreciate that entering therapy, or seeking therapeutic work for your child may seem a little daunting and you may be unsure of how to find the right therapist. Because of this, I always suggest a free initial call as a trial to explore whether you feels it's a good fit for us to work together.
Following this, I will invite you to an assessment session where I explore with clients what's going on for them, how it is affecting their life and what goals they have for seeking therapy. This session is as much the client's assessment as to whether they feel comfortable working with me, as for me to get a sense of what support may be beneficial for them.
When working online/via telephone, an important factor to consider is ensuring that you (or your child if they are the client) have access to a completely private space where there isn't fear of the session being overheard.
If I'm working with a young person, my usual process differs slightly as I invite the parent(s)/carer(s) to come alongside their child for the intial part of the assessment session. This allows me to get their sense of what is going on as well of that of the young person themselves. We also explore the role of confidentiality for the young person and any exceptions to this within the process.
What I can help with
Abuse, Addictions, Anxiety, Bereavement, Cancer, Child related issues, Chronic fatigue syndrome / ME, Depression, Disability, Eating disorders, Executive coaching, Health related issues, Infertility, Leadership coaching, LGBTQ+ counselling, Life coaching, Loss, Menopause, Mood disorder, Personal development, Phobias, Post-traumatic stress, Pregnancy related issues, Redundancy, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Stress, Trauma, Women's issues, Work related issues

Availability
I offer flexible sessions, with early morning, daytime, and evening availability.
I offer discounts for trainee and volunteer therapists and supervise those working with adults and young people. .
Due to capacity, I am currently only accepting online/telephone supervisees for my London-based practice.

About me and my therapy practice
I offer clinical supervision for counsellors, psychotherapists, and those in helping professions like education, HR, and social care.
My approach is based on Hawkins and Shohet’s 7-eyed model, blending reflective practice, ethical guidance, and professional development in a safe and supportive environment, for both training and experienced practitioners.
Practice description
Lots of different activities can happen in supervision, and I want to ensure that it is a safe and valuable space for you. Supervision can address feeling stuck, applying theory, or exploring the therapeutic relationship. We may look at conscious and unconscious processes, including transference and countertransference. It’s also a space for you to reflect on personal impacts of your work, celebrate successes, and address challenges.
There may be a need, at times, to focus on the ethical, theoretical or practical aspects of practice. I aim to do this within a collaborative, informative and supportive relationship which enables supervisees to continually grow and develop their own practice. For me, supervision is a space for material to be explored in a safe environment which may sometimes be challenging, but always comes from a place of support and learning.
My first session
I offer a free, initial 30-minute consultation for us to meet and decide if we would like to begin a supervisory relationship.
My background includes training in person-centred, psychodynamic, and CBT modalities, along with trauma-informed practice, EFT, and NLP. I am also an ICF member coach and am currently working towards becoming a registered EMDR therapist.
I have experience with adults and young people in various settings, and my private practice largely focuses on trauma, relationship issues, and chronic health.
