About me and my therapy practice
I work outside in nature offering Ecotherapy sessions to adults, young people and children. A growing body of research highlights the positive benefits of connecting with nature, my practice embraces this connection and encourages us to explore it.
As well as improving our physical and mental health, being outside for therapy can bring many other dimensions into the work. Nature provides rich metaphors that can guide our processes and it can often feel easier to connect with difficult emotions when we are in a natural setting. Children and young people can find outside work particularly beneficial, as being able to move about can help them to feel more comfortable. Symptoms of ADHD can also be reduced when time is spent in a green environment.

About me and my therapy practice
I have worked as a counsellor for ten years in various settings with adults and children and young people. Supervision is such an important part of our work as counsellors. It gives us the space to learn, reflect, process and address our self care needs, so that we can be truly present and helpful to our clients. My aim as a supervisor is to provide a space that is safe and collaborative where we can explore your client work and your well being.
I have worked as a children and young people's counsellor for many years and my supervision training had a focus on how we support therapists who work with children and young people.
Practice description
My work is grounded in the Person-centred approach and I use the Seven eyed model of supervision to guide me in supervision. My training and work as an Ecotherapist also guides my supervision work and I can also offer outdoor nature based supervision. I value the use of creative approaches in supervision.
My first session
I can offer an initial free chat, either online or on the phone, in which we can discuss your supervision needs and what I can offer and we can explore how we might work together.
