About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP accredited therapist, a Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA(P)), and a qualified supervisor. I have many years of experience working with individuals, couples, supervisees and supervision groups.
My original training in 2004 was in Transactional Analysis using person-centred skills. Since then I have undertaken lots of other training, qualified as a supervisor and have developed my creativity and style further. I now describe myself as an integrative, humanistic, creative therapist and supervisor.
Practice description
My therapy room is in Crowborough, East Sussex and is located in a tranquil garden setting offering a safe and confidential environment.
I offer face to face, online and "walk and talk" therapy sessions. Where appropriate, and if it suits you, I love to work creatively: that might be using sand trays, working with images, paints, collage and many other ways of working creatively. I find that working creatively can be really helpful when words alone are not enough.
My first session
I offer a free initial session, so that we can meet each other and decide that we are comfortable working together. During this session I will ask questions about you, to make sure that I am the right therapist for you.
What I can help with
Anxiety, Bereavement, Cancer, Child related issues, Depression, Loss, Phobias, Post-traumatic stress, Redundancy, Relationships, Self-harm, Sex-related issues, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Stress, Trauma, Women's issues, Work related issues
Types of therapy
Creative therapy, Humanistic, Integrative, Person centred, Transactional analysis
Clients I work with
Adults, Couples, Older adults, Trainees
How I deliver therapy

About me and my therapy practice
I have over 10 years experience working as a supervisor, having qualified in 2012. I am a BACP accredited practitioner and a Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA(P)).
My original training in 2004 was in Transactional Analysis, using person-centred skills. Since then I have undertaken lots of other training, have qualified as a supervisor and have developed my creativity and style further. I now describe myself as an integrative, humanistic, creative practitioner and supervisor.
Practice description
I work with both individuals and small groups (max 4) offering supervision to help you strengthen your practice ethically, expand your clinical understanding and give you a space to share the impact of your work so that you don't burn out.
As with other aspects of my work I like to work creatively where appropriate, as I believe that this can help us bring to our conscious minds what we already unconsciously know. This can be particularly helpful in supervision.
My first session
In the first supervision session I will ask questions about you and your practice, so that we can work out together what you want, your level of experience and how I can help you.
