About me and my therapy practice
I am a Person centred counsellor based in Southport.
I qualified as as a counsellor in 2002. I trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to add to my range of therapies.
I have worked full time for the Local Authority and several charities in counselling positions over the last 20 years.
I am committed to providing a safe place to explore any issues. I am passionate that therapy is an effective way of dealing with your concerns.
I have extensive experience of working with adults, young people and adolescents including issues around substance use, self harm, anxiety, depression and coping with trauma. I have positive feedback from past clients.
Practice description
I can offer face to face appointments at Southport office. I also offer telephone and video counselling.
My first session

About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced counsellor working with adults and children and young people and I am qualified supervisor offering individual supervision in a reflective practice style. I offer a safe and supportive environment to explore all aspects of a practitioner’s work with clients.
I have experience of working with adults and young people for over 20 years including managing safeguarding concerns and working with clients with trauma and addiction issues.
I work in a person centred way and incorporate other theories if applicable to the supervisory relationship including CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
