About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP Accredited Supervisor, with significant experience in providing group and individual clinical supervision to counsellors in training, newly qualified therapists, experienced practitioners, therapeutic coaches and fellow supervisors, trained in a variety of modalities and working in a wide range of settings.
Collaborative Working Relationship...
I understand that having the right supervisor can significantly impact your confidence, practice and progression as a practitioner. I work supportively, reflectively and with challenge where needed/wanted, with the aim of empowering my supervisees to maintain ethical standards, explore case material, grow as a professional and celebrate good practice.
Integrative Approach...
As an integratively trained therapist, I am able to draw upon a variety of theories to suit the needs of my clients. And just like my therapeutic approach, I work integratively as a Supervisor too, working with relational, developmental, coaching and systemic supervision models to inform my process and support my supervisees appropriately.
Non-Managerial & Consultative Supervision...
I also offer non-managerial supervision and support to professionals working in other caring professions, such as HR, Social Services, Rehab Units, Inclusion Centres, Educational Services and Palliative Care Teams. This allows professionals to reflect upon the emotional challenges of their role, process the work undertaken, consider learning points, explore any biases that could impact their actions or relationships and reduce the risk of burnout and/or mental health concerns.
