About me and my therapy practice
I am a British counsellor/psychotherapist and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have experience as an individual counsellor, group facilitator and couples therapist. I worked for a well-known London based clinic for over 7 years.
I work remotely via Skype/factime/zoom. It has become an essential avenue so that therapeutic support is accessible to everyone irrespective of your geographical location, health and work/family commitments.
My training and approach to counselling is based on the humanistic integrative model combined with concepts from the psychodynamic approach. I have also completed part 1 of Pia Mellody’s Post Induction Training. This intensive training has extended my therapeutic skills to work with the underlying trauma of most addictive and dysfunctional processes. My training also covered the professional issues such as Code of Ethics and Practice, the organisational context of clinical work and legal issues.
