I have availability within my part-time Practice. I work during the day and evenings face to face or on-line. A session last between 50 minutes and 1 hour which is negotiated with the client. This may be less when working with Children.
About me and my therapy practice
I work with Children, Young People and Adults with a client centered approach. I describe my practice as Integrative, drawing on a number of theorists and approaches to therapy.
Practice description
As a Counsellor I like to explore with the client their issues within the Counselling To work with them to discover their strengths and help them to develop. I aim to work in an empathetic way throughout the client sessions.
I use creative mediums to enhance my work when appropriate and with the clients permission. I incorporate play with Children.
The client is at the center of our work together.
My first session
In the first session, I will ask the client to do an assessment with me to see if the client would like to work with me. I will assess if I am the appropriate counsellor for the client.
When working with children I will have an assessment with the parents and then the children.
The first session will be a different rate to counselling sessions.

I work as part of the team with the supervisees, whilst being responsible for the management of the group. I trust in the supervisee's willingness for their own positive growth and that of their clients. My Tasks are to encourage and facilitate learning; monitoring practices to ensure that they are within the BACP Codes and Ethics and to encourage the supervisee's self-care.
