About me and my therapy practice
I am a very experienced, accredited counsellor and psychotherapist and have been counselling for 10 years.
I have continuing and long-term NHS, and private practice experience, have worked in specialist sexual abuse and bereavement services. prison services and general counselling services. I was a qualified nurse for many years and am also a university course leader in counselling and mental health and in my final year of PHD research.
Are you experiencing difficulties, depression, anxiety, trauma related symptoms, self-esteem issues or work related stress? Do you have relational issues or are you experiencing identity issues? I offer relational therapy to match your needs. This will mean the therapy may involve aspects of person- centred therapy, CBT or psycho-dynamic therapy and we will work together. You may be experiencing loss and bereavement ? I have specialist experience in this area along with experience of working with issues of sexual, trauma, physical or emotional abuse. Your first session may be longer than an hour as we will be establishing the most suitable way of working to suit your needs.

I am accredited with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I have extensive experience as a Psychotherapist/Counsellor & Supervisor and have been counselling for 10 years. I have worked in NHS, charity, prison and education settings.
I work relationally (with you to overcome your psychological distress/issues) with a Person-centred core. integrating aspects of Existentialism, CBT, Mindfulness and Psychodynamic Theory.
Qualifications include MA Psychotherapy and PG Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and in the final year of PHD research studies.
I work with young people, students. adults, couples and offer disabled access.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified, accredited Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Counselling and Mental Health Lecturer. I am registered with the BACP and work confidentially within their guidelines. I will work with you to help you reach a 'better place'. It may be that you feel down, are suffering from anxiety issues, work-related issues, relationship problems, long-term depression, low-self esteem or have suffered trauma. I have extensive NHS and charity sector experience and have specialist experience in counselling adults who have been sexually, mentally or physically abused, suffered loss and bereavement or are experiencing work related stress. I have an MA in Psychotherapy and a PG Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, offer supervision (reduced rates for students) and have training in CBT, Mindfulness and Transactional Analysis.
