About me and my therapy practice
I have been practising as a counsellor for twelve years during which time I have worked in the private, voluntary, charitable, and statutory sectors. I am trained as an integrative counsellor and particularly enjoy working in a solution-focused way. I am also able to offer Rewind trauma therapy.
Practice description
I aim to offer a friendly and easy-going space in which you can explore how you are feeling and what has brought you into therapy. I work with adults and children (8 years and above) and specialise in working with risk (exploitation, abuse, trauma, self-harm, and suicidal ideation) which means I am comfortable talking about difficult subjects and I am not easily shocked.
My first session
Taking the first step can be the hardest part, and finding a therapist you truly connect with can be difficult. I can offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation in order that we can get to know each other, to establish whether we would be a good fit for one another, before you commit to a full session.

About me and my therapy practice
Qualifying as a counsellor in 2015 and subsequently as a clinical supervisor, the bulk of my clinical experience lies in working with complex and high-risk children and young people, though have also spent a number of years working with adults both in private practice and within the NHS. I specialise in working with young people at risk of exploitation and adults with a history of abuse and exploitation, self-harm, trauma, and substance use.
Practice description
As a supervisor, I aim to offer a relaxed and friendly space in which you can reflect on your practice. Broadly following the Seven-Eyed Process Model of Supervision, I will work with you to focus on the client's presentation and support you to understand the relational dynamics, wider processes, and the interventions offered, offering gentle challenge where appropriate.
I work with qualified therapists and student therapists. I am also able to offer clinical and safeguarding-specific supervision to other professionals and organisations.
