About me and my therapy practice
Initially I trained as a counsellor in 2002 and then completed a 9 year course and qualified as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist.
My training has helped me assist my clients to make the changes in their lives that they wish to make
I feel passionate about counselling and psychotherapy as I have seen how therapy helps with a variety of issues and symptoms and have also seen lives changed for the better.

Practice description
Through the therapy I provide, you will develop a much greater understanding of why things are the way they are and you will become more aware of your choices.
My first session
Initially I will suggest that we meet for at least 3 weekly and consecutive assessment/consultations. These sessions will give you an opportunity to experience how I work and at the third session you can let me know whether you wish to continue working with me and I will also let you know whether I think I am the therapist for you.

About me and my therapy practice
Many people choose to begin therapy because they want to feel better, improve their relationships and be more successful at work. Psychotherapy can be helpful in addressing the emotional or sometimes even physical pain that can get in the way of such goals. The therapy I practice involves careful listening and exploration of my clients' difficulties and how those difficulties tend to repeat or consistently present in a variety of contexts. I work with clients that appreciate that lasting change is indeed possible, and have the courage to forgo the false promise of a 'quick fix'.
