About me and my therapy practice
Hello and warm welcome. There may be many reasons why you are reading this. Perhaps you are feeling low, depressed, anxious, confused, overwhelmed, betrayed, angry, or simply stuck. I understand that first steps towards finding help can feel unsettling or even daunting. The good news is, that by having a look around, you are already on your way.
I am an experienced therapist with over 10 years in practice. Over the years I have helped people with many issues, including: anxiety, panic disorder, depression, relationship issues, stress, low self-esteem and confidence, loss, issues related to work, studies and identity. I particularly enjoy working with people suffering with any form of anxiety as well as issues related to parenting, family dynamics and relationships.
Research suggests that a good relationship between client and counsellor is one of the most reliable predictors of effective and successful therapy. This is the main reason why I believe it is important to find the right person to help you navigate the path. And as the journey can be difficult at times, creating a supportive space, built on respect, trust and honesty, is key. When you come to me, you can expect a warm, non-judgemental, confidential and safe space. I appreciate that all of us process and understand our environment in a unique way and so the style and pace of our work will be tailored to you - your individual aims and needs.

This may feel very different to those, who previously experienced a face to face counselling. Online sessions have their advantages and disadvantages and I will be happy to discuss and answer any questions around the topic in our free consultation.
