About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced BACP registered  Psychodynamic Counsellor. I also work systematically with couples, families and mother and daughter relationships. Providing culturally sensitive interventions that are inclusive and adaptable to the wide range of difficulties that I often see. I work with individuals from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds. Who often struggle with a wide range of problems. Ranging from anxiety, depression, abuse, loss or bereavement, trauma, suicidal thoughts, relationship difficulties, issues relating to identity, sexuality, discrimination, anger management, eating disorders,  school avoidance, difficulties at work or within family relationships and school life.

I specialise in tracing the source of your difficulties, often masked in unhelpful patterns of repeated behaviour. Together we can find exit strategies that will empower you, build confidence, self-esteem, resilience and self-efficacy to make the change that you seek in your life.

My Counselling approach will help you to gain a better understanding of what may be causing your problems. I also provide the skills that will help you to manage and resolve your difficulties. I can help you to gain a greater insight into the challenges that you are facing and help you to understand why you react to your difficulties in the way that you do. This will help you to make healthier and informed choices in life. Helping to improve your mental health and wellbeing.

I offer telephone and online counselling via Zoom. Sessions cost £70 for 50 minutes for individuals and £80 for couples payable by bank transfer prior to the session.

If you would like to cancel an appointment, I require 48 hour’s notice. Otherwise, you will still need to pay for the session that you have missed.

Practice description

Thank you for visiting my page. At times life can bring many challenges our way. These challenges may lead us to look for support to face them. As a Counsellor, I offer a welcoming confidential, relaxed non-judgmental space. Coupled with a good sense of humour. Where people can feel safe enough to show their vulnerability and reflect on their inner thoughts, feelings, emotions and problematic behaviour that they may be experiencing. In a way that will help you to process these feelings and attach a deeper meaning and sense of purpose or clearer direction on your journey to self-discovery and the inner peace that you seek.

My first session

This will be an opportunity for you to focus on and explore what currently feels important for you and will help you in your counselling journey. I will reflect on what you have discussed and going forward we can explore ways in which you can gain a better understanding of yourself that will  help you to overcome the  difficulties that you may be facing.
