About me and my therapy practice
I have a Diploma in Person Centred Counselling and a Diploma in Relational Mindfulness and have been working with victims of sexual violence and childhood abuse for the last five years. I have completed a Masters in Mindfulness Based Psychotherapeutic Practice at the Karuna Institute. I believe that the quality of the relationship between therapist and client is the foundation on which any good therapy is based.I believe that my clients have the desire and the capacity to grow towards fulfilling their true potential, and that they are the experts on their own lives. I will therefore not give you advice or offer solutions, but will work with you to help you to understand yourself more fully and to find your own inner resources. I feel that Mindfulness can help us to notice what is happening in a moment by moment way and this offers us different ways of relating to ourselves, those around us and the world at large. With greater self-awareness and trust in yourself, I hope that you will be able to make constructive changes, leading to a more satisfying and meaningful life.
