I work weekday daytimes, afternoons and evenings.About me and my therapy practice
Please note: I am currently offering all of my sessions via Zoom or telephone call only.
Sometimes you might feel that life is difficult, distressing or challenging, maybe not working out as you had hoped, or that you are stuck in a way of living that is causing you stress and unhappiness. Talking to friends, family or colleagues can often help. Maybe you don’t want to burden them, don’t have anyone to talk to, or maybe they’re part of the problem. Sometimes we need someone who is outside of the situation, who will really listen to us and our concerns and work with us to help us sort things out, so that we can feel better.
If you’re struggling with things in your life, past, present or future, or you’re not even sure what the problem is, counselling might be the help and support you need.
I am a fully qualified Trauma Informed Integrative Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor. That means that rather than just sticking to just one theory, such as Psychodynamic or Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, I use different ideas and techniques to suit you, and we incorporate the link between brain and body.
Sessions can be just a single session, a few in number, or on a longer-term basis.
I have a special interest in working with Trauma and PTSD/Complex PTSD, and work with both adults and young people in this area. I work with a 3 phased approach involving a thorough assessment, psychoeducation, safety and stabilisation, and processing your trauma.
I am trained in Brainspotting (Phase 1, 2 and 3) and Rewind Therapy, and we can integrate these as part of the work.
I also have a special interest in working with young people and have extensive clinical experience working in this area.
I work with individuals, whether adults, or young people. I also work with couples.
I offer a friendly, secure and confidential space where you can be understood and valued.
Please get in touch either with me by telephone or e-mail if you are interested in learning more or to arrange an initial appointment.

- £65 per 1 hour session
- £80 per 1.5 hour session
I have limited spaces for concessionary supervision rates for students in training on recognised L4 Diploma Counselling courses **all concession spaces currently full**
I also offer Group Supervision, and Supervision for other professionals including school staff. Please get in touch for further information.
Practice description
Clinical supervision is regular scheduled time to review client work, to consider the client/counsellor relationship and to sustain good practice as safely and as ethically as possible. We work together to ensure the client is kept at the heart of the work. It gives safe space to explore and navigate as best as possible any ethical issues that may arise for both client and counsellor. Part of the work may involve considering areas for personal and professional development, as well as to ensure skills and knowledge are kept up to date. Supervision also enables the counsellor to safely consider their own personal resources to sustain their work and their client load.
Supervisees I work with include both Trainee and experienced Counsellors and Psychotherapists who work with a range of both adult and CYP clients. They are self employed working in Private Practice or work for organisations including schools, universities, businesses and mental health agencies/charities.
I also supervise Trainee Counsellors in placement.
CYP Supervision: I have extensive experience of working with children and young people, both in schools and in private practice, and also supervise counsellors who specialise in CYP work.
Online and telephone sessions
I work online with supervisees from all over the UK via various video call software such as Zoom, Skype, Teams etc.
I also offer supervision via telephone.
My first session
I offer an initial free no obligation 30 min session for us to meet and discuss what you are looking for from supervision. This gives us an opportunity to discuss if we feel we are a good fit to work together.Types of therapy
Behavioural, Brief therapy, CBT, Cognitive, Creative therapy, Eclectic, Existential, Humanistic, Integrative, Interpersonal, Person centred, Relational, Solution focused brief therapy, Transactional analysis, Transpersonal
