About me and my therapy practice
Have you been struggling with a problem for some time, or perhaps something has happened recently and you are finding it hard to cope? I can provide you with an independent perspective on the issues you face, and assist you in finding ways to achieve your goals. This process can involve close consideration and reflection of your thoughts, feelings and behavioural patterns, within a safe, non-judgemental environment, to allow you the opportunity to find the ways forward that you need.
As a unique individual, your life experience and problems will differ to those of others. My bespoke service, tailored to your specific needs will draw from a number of counselling theories and techniques, designed to assist and support you.
I offer individuals short or long term work. Depending on your needs, therapy may just be a few sessions or you may decide that working on an open ended basis feels better for you.
In addition to my private counselling work, since January 2013, as a Clinical Supervisor I have provided Supervision to Counsellors at a BACP Accredited Counselling Service.Practice description
My main private practice has disabled access, and I also use alternate rooms within the city centre.

About me and my therapy practice
I have been a Clinical Supervisor of both Trainee and Qualified Counsellors since 2013. I have supervised experienced professionals facing significant challenges, and also supported the novice on the start of their counselling career in their personal and professional development. am able to provide both individual supervision and group supervision, on a fortnightly or monthly basis. As a supervisor I work to the BACP's Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions, and ensure that I receive regular supervision of my own work as a supervisor.
My Approach: As an integrative counsellor and clinical supervisor, drawing upon person centred values and integrating these with solution focussed, cognitive behavioural and gestalt models, I conduct supervision from a mainly humanistic approach. I believe the quality of the supervisory relationship is paramount in the process of assisting supervisees move forward. In my supervisory practice I currently draw upon a variety of supervision models, including Hawkins & Shohet's Seven Eyed Model Of Supervision, and Inskipp & Proctor's model focussing on the normative, formative and restorative functions of supervision.
Location of Supervision Rooms: My main private practice is located at the Custard Factory in Digbeth and I also use alternate rooms within Birmingham city centre. Fees: £60.00 per hour. £50.00 per hour for students.
