I work in person in my consulting room in Hythe and also work on-line and by telephone. I can offer sessions throughout the day, Monday to Friday.
About me and my therapy practice
I am professionally qualified to work with individuals and couples and have over twenty years’ experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. I work with people who are facing specific challenges or who want to understand themselves and make changes.
Practice description
I qualified as a psychodynamic counsellor in 2003 and went on to complete further professional trainings. As a couples’ psychotherapist trained in the NHS, I work with couples to explore specific issues and also the general dynamics of their relationships. As a psychoanalytic psychotherapist I can offer individuals between one and three sessions a week. A greater number of sessions a week allows an increased depth of work and is particularly valuable if you are training to become a therapist.
My first session
I offer an initial consultation to think about whether therapy might be useful for you. This is an opportunity for us to talk about why you are considering therapy, what you hope to gain and to identify what you might need in order to get the most out of the process if we agree to work together. What I can help with
