About me and my therapy practice
I am a Person Centred counselor who works with adults, children and young people offering 1-1 or group therapy. My approach is non-judgmental and I offer a secure, confidential and nurturing therapeutic space to help you through your difficulties at your own pace.
I work with all issues that can cause distress and anxiety for people. I have lot of experience of working with the effects of trauma. from Sex, drug, alcohol and gambling addiction. relationship breakdowns, marriage discord, anxiety disorders, Bereavement and loss etc.
I believe in allowing people the space to explore what they need in the time they need to do this. People always comment on my warm and nurturing presence and my ability to really understand what they are going through. Being with them in moments of psychological pain.
You will always find my approach empathetic to your difficulties and struggles and the process of the counselling empowering.

I'm a experience clinical supervisor who works with experienced and trainee counselors/ psychotherapist. I am an accredited member of the BACP and work to their ethical frame work.
I offer a confidential, warm and challenging space for you to develop as a therapist and believe in your capacity to work in and toward a good standard of practice. Because of my experience in organisations, private practice and educational establishments I can help you develop you capacity to work in these environments. I believe in enabling the counselors internal frame of reference and supporting them in their levels of competencies.
I work with counselors from all approaches and have supported really experienced counselors and trainees. I have experience of working with counselor who are substances and addiction counselors, school counselors, private practice counselors and counselors who work in voluntary organisations and CAMHS.
I will always be supportive and helpful when you are struggling in your practice and honest with you. I am always prepared in my sessions and fully present with your process and am willing to go where you need to your process to develop your effectiveness as a therapist.
