About me and my therapy practice
For more than 20 years I’ve been working as an integrative counsellor and my supervision work has been alongside my client work for much of this time.
My supervisory experience ranges from supervising individuals and groups of volunteers for Cruse Bereavement Care to working with counsellors employed in doctor surgeries for the NHS.
I also work with self employed counsellors working with clients referred through Employee Assistance Programs (EAP); and those working either in their own private practice or working for agencies.
I’ve spent many years supervising counsellors working with clients who have experienced domestic violence or sexual abuse (The Green House and SARSAS).
Choosing a supervisor can be daunting and you may need to meet with more than one person before you find the right fit. You’re welcome to book a session with me to see if my way of working will suit your needs.
Practice description
Whether you’re seeking your first supervisor for your trainee placement or it’s time for you to find a new supervisor for your next chapter, I offer you the opportunity to explore your therapeutic way of being and develop a deeper understanding of the work you carry out with clients.
Supervision can be a space to bring the things you find difficult and equally to acknowledge what’s working well.
I’m qualified and experienced and I’ll be glad to facilitate you in your desire to be the practitioner you want to be.
My supervision practice is rooted in the Hawkins and Shohet 7 eyed model.
I offer face to face sessions only.
