Practice description
Intimate Partners Therapy (IPT)
In IPT, I work to preserve the delicate equilibrium between you and your partner while facilitating an open and constructive dialogue. I’ll aim to cultivate a respectful and secure environment where both of you can comfortably express your thoughts and feelings, ensuring your voices are heard and understood by each other.
I’ll help you and your partner(s) to open up, underlining the strengths in your relationship alongside what might be causing you distress. I’ll support identifying negative behaviours that can be changed to improve your relationship. As the neutral third party, my role is to guide and facilitate the process of helping you both gain a better understanding of each other and identify the positive and negative patterns within your relationship.
I’ll work with you to reduce relationship stress coming from significant life events such as health issues, major financial decisions, or the joyous arrival of new family members. In sessions, I’ll assist you in developing effective stress reduction strategies, navigating these challenges, and strengthening your relationship’s resilience.
I’ll help you negotiate relationship transitions. These life transitions can be unsettling, requiring couples to reevaluate their dynamics. Whether you’re navigating new territory together or facing complex questions about your relationship style, IPT offers a supportive space to adapt and foster open communication, trust and mutual growth.
When relationships reach their natural conclusion, the process of separation and divorce can be emotionally turbulent. I’ll help you to navigate endings, divorce and separation with kindness. In IPT, I provide support for couples seeking to part ways amicably and respectfully. I can help with navigating the complexities of separation, and address the emotional challenges/ practical considerations involved. My goal is to facilitate a process that allows both of you to move forward with clarity and understanding.
My first session
My first session
Intimate Partners (IP) sometimes approach their first IPT session with concern and apprehension because they have never attended an IPT session before. Very often, Intimate Partners have questions about whether the therapist will take sides (of course this doesn’t happen) or what they may have to reveal as part of their IPT. Many IP find that if they attend with an open mind and a willingness to work with their partner(s) and with the therapist, then their relationship will start to benefit from even a few sessions.
We’ll set the ground rules and boundaries for the IPT and the direction of the therapy can be discussed. During this first session, you and your partner will be given the chance to ask any questions or concerns that you may have and your therapist will cover the formalities around confidentiality, code of ethics, cancellation agreements and a summary of training and experience.
We will start with a therapeutic assessment. It usually takes place between 1-3 sessions of 50 minutes.
How do I prepare for my first session of couples counselling?
• Signing and sending back the IPT therapeutic agreement. It is important to have both of your email addresses and you both send from your personal email the agreement before the first session.
• If we are working online, follow the information on ‘Online and Telephone Therapy’. You must be in the same room with the same device and sit where I can see both of you.
• No violence or violent language against one of the partners is allowed during the sessions.
• Some couples like to spend some time thinking about why they are going or what to bring to the session.
• What issues have you been experiencing in your relationship?
• How long have these issues been a problem in your relationship?
• Have you ever been in relationship counselling before?
• What have you and your partner done to try to resolve these issues?
• What are your expectations of couples counselling?

Practice description
Services
Psychodynamic therapy will explore how your early childhood experiences and relationships shaped your present relationships by creating repeated patterns of behaviour. Becoming aware of these patterns and how they impact how you see the world and your position in it, will help you to change this perception in a way that assists you better.
CBT is based on the idea that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and actions are interconnected and that negative thoughts and feelings can trap you in a vicious cycle. It can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave.
Gender Sexuality & Relationship Diversities (GSRD) Therapy is a more inclusive term to replace the acronym LGBTQIA+. It includes kink, non-monogamy, sex workers, non-binary and other gender non-conforming people, as well as those who feel generally excluded in discussions of LGBTQIA+ issues.
Online/Telephone Therapy is conducted via the Internet or telephone. Some people may prefer to use video conferencing and some may prefer to use just audio.
Individual Therapy - I will support you with the personal challenges that life and the world bring to you. I'll support you with any emotional concerns you may be experiencing that are contributing to you feeling unfulfilled in your life.
Intimate Partners Therapy (IPT) will help you and your partner(s) to open up and highlight the strengths in your relationship alongside what might be causing you distress. As the neutral third party, my role within IPT is to guide and facilitate the process of helping you and your partner(s) gain a better understanding of each other and your relationship.
Psychosexual and Sex Therapy will support you with your intimate life and relationship challenges, emotional concerns you may be experiencing that are contributing to the sexual problem, and customised interventions and techniques to get you back on the journey of reclaiming or establishing a newfound sexual fulfilment.
My first session
Generally, the first session will be an opportunity to get to know you, just like it is an opportunity for you to get to know me.
I will invite you to let me know about what brings you to therapy, as well as some background information like your career, education, relationships and perhaps medical history. I will explore with you if you have sought therapy before, and if so, what worked and what didn't. Talking about and exploring your experiences will help you get a better understanding of what is happening in your life and the reasons for it.
My way of working is starting therapy with a psychodynamic assessment. It usually takes place during approximately one to three sessions of 50 minutes. While exploring the patient's current problems, past treatment, early development, childhood, trauma and social relationships, I will also assess mental status both indirectly and, when necessary, by asking direct questions. We will discuss confidentiality.
After the initial assessment, we decide together which therapeutic approach to work with and what is your needs and focus of your therapy.
We will be meeting at the Marylebone consult room. It is a 3-minute (0.2 mile) walk from the Marylebone train and Underground stations.
If want to work online, I use the Zoom platform. Zoom sessions are encrypted (video, audio, and screen sharing). In the event of issues with the internet signal, we can use WhatsApp video call.

• Feeling stuck & wanting to grow

Practice description
Gender Sexuality & Relationship Diverse (GSRD) Therapy
GSRD is a more inclusive term used in therapy to replace the acronym LGBTQIA+. It also includes BDSM/Kink, polyamory, swingers and other forms of consensual non-monogamy, sex workers, non-binary and other gender non-conforming people, as well as those who feel generally excluded in discussions of LGBTQ+ issues.
You may be looking for a therapist with training in a variety of specific issues by feeling comfortable working with those who belong to the GSRD communities. I trained with Pink Therapy on the topic of GSRD and Gendered Intelligence (GI) on the topic of working with trans and non-binary clients. I have worked in different mental health LGBTQ+ organisations where I gained experience working with GSRD clients. I am a campaigner for the Ban of Conversion Therapy practice in the UK.
I believe in working with different tools to better fit the client's needs. I believe that gender and or sexuality/sexual behaviour is vital to the therapeutic process but I work at the client’s own pace to attend to GSRD-specific issues which the client feels that they need to work with or feel the need to have a therapist who understands “where they are coming from”.
I have experience in working with individuals who identify as transgender, non-binary, genderqueer, gender-questioning, genderfluid and gender-fluid, and other people who don't fit in these labels. I offer therapy for anyone who wants to explore their identity, regardless of whether they are considering or undergoing transition and can support you on your personal journey.
I am a BDSM/Kink-aware therapist. I recognise BDSM/Kink as a normal practice I understand the difference between a “healthy” practice and unhealth such as non-consensual abuse, am aware of what constitutes safe or risky BDSM/Kink practices, I understand the diversity and nuance of BDSM/Kink, and I am aware of BDSM/Kink-specific concerns that might be relevant to therapy.
My pronouns: He/Him.
My first session
Psychosexual and Sex Therapy
Are you having a hard time reconciling your more exotic desires with the messages of disapproval that you may have heard from society?
It is common for people to have a problem with sex at some point in their life. Sexual problems can cause a lot of distress and unhappiness in people. A sex therapist will listen to you describe your problems and assess whether the cause is likely to be psychological, physical or a combination of the two.
Psychosexual and Sex Therapy will support you with your intimate life and relationship challenges, emotional concerns you may be experiencing that are contributing to the sexual problem, and customised interventions and techniques to get you back on the journey of reclaiming or establishing sexual fulfilment.
I aim to support you in gaining a clearer understanding of yourself. I provide a confidential, non-judgmental space to support you with various challenges related to your intimate life and relationships. We'll discuss your desired goals for therapy. I'll support you with any emotional concerns you may be experiencing that are contributing to the sexual problem in your life, and I'll offer customised interventions and techniques to get you back on the journey of reclaiming or establishing a newfound sexual fulfilment in your intimate encounters.
I can help you with various sexual problems and related issues such as:
• Lack of desire
• Difficulty having an orgasm
• Pain during sex or inability to have penetrative sex
• Difficulty getting or keeping an erection (ED)
• Premature ejaculation or other ejaculation problems
