Hi there, just to let you know that I currently have availability. My private practice is set in a quiet peaceful location in Kinver. My days of Practice are Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I work mainly Face to Face, which is the preferred option for majority of my clients, but I also offer Online Therapy or Telephone Counselling for those wishing to seek support in this way.
I have been a Practicing Therapist for 25 years and most of my clients come through recommendation from previous satisfied clients.
My intensive 11 year tracing started in the year 2000 at Colleges within the West Midlands and advanced to University of Central England and Queen Mary University in London. I am professionally qualified as a Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Clinical Hypnotherapist (examined under the British Medical Hypnotherapy Board), EMDR Therapist, EFT Therapist, NLP Practitioner.
About me and my therapy practice
The way I work in Therapy is within a Contemporary manner, with continued studies, keeping up to date with current times & requirements to reflect our ever changing times and the ever changing needs of my clients, working in an Integrative flexible manner using a variety of techniques from several dynamic psychotherapeutic models to suit your individual unique needs, some of which might include Cognitive Restructuring within Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy to find more appropriate helpful solutions, EMDR to help process trauma, blockages or PTSD, Clinical Hypnotherapy to assist with actualising healthy belief systems, whilst challenging unhealthy behaviour and unwanted patterns, to help you to create more healthy desirable structures within your relationship with yourself and others and how you wish to respond to your environment and your own individual life challenges in a more beneficial way. As a Therapist i am attuned with my Empathy, Unconditional Positive Regard & Congruence in a None Judgemental Manner as I offer you a Safe Place to explore your issues, enhance your Self Development, Self Worth, Self Belief, Self Value, Confidence & to connect with your Authentic Self, whist identifying your worthwhile goals and inner feelings of peace, and your true alignment with your own individual unique needs and integrity. It’s your Therapy, Your Journey, Your Needs and Self Expression will be valued and held safely, as you are free to gain a clearer understanding of self, process, release, access better coping mechanisms, grow resilience and flourish in a manner that suits your needs, and to actualise the changes you wish to make.
Practice description
On the 1st Session we get to know each other in a relaxed therapy room, a safe private environment. We explore what brings you to therapy and what you would like to achieve from your sessions, as you are free to evaluate in your own mind your comfort levels of the possibility of committing to working with me as your Therapist within any future sessions. We gently explore any issues you wish to bring to therapy and discuss desired changes and achievements and evaluate strategies and plans to initiate these changes. There is no commitment to book any further sessions unless you feel comfortable to do so. A commitment to Engage within a series of Therapy sessions is a personal decision you will be free to make upon your own evaluation of your comfort and ease within your first session.
My first session
On the first session I do give a mini experience of the kind of therapeutic techniques I feel would suit your individual needs based on what you have expressed within your first session so that you can get a feel for my style of working and I also evaluate and outline a future plan of what therapeutic processes I feel might be useful for you within therapy to help you to actualise your desired changes or goals.
