Sometimes when life is tough, we all need someone to talk to, confidentially, to help make sense of what's happening and why we feel as we do.
If you're struggling with stress, life changes, bereavement, divorce, addictions, trauma, family/relationship and workplace difficulties then Counselling can support you.
Making sense of your depression, or increased anxiety, or loss of energy, focus and motivation, can aid healing. Counselling can provide a confidential space and time to talk, where you can begin to share and gain the self insight you need to help you to move forward.
I provide confidential supportive therapy for all individuals and all life difficulties. I also provide Personal Therapy for Therapists and Trainee Therapists.
I am happy to provide a free half hour telephone conversation to answer any questions you may have regarding Counselling Therapy.
Practice description
I provide a confidential, safe space, from my office at home, where Clients can share their current life distress/stress.
I work with a variety of approaches, Humanistic, T.A. (Transactional Analysis), Person-Centred, Brief Solution Focused, CBT, Systemic, Psychosynthesis, M.I. (Motivational Interviewing), Psychodynamic.
I am happy to answer any questions regarding any of these approaches.
My first session
Prior to commencing Counselling, I am pleased to offer a free half hour call, to discuss your current support needs, so that you can gain a sense of whether I am the right Counsellor for you to work with.
The first session is usually a starting point on your journey, where you begin to described what's been happening, what's troubling you, or what you feel you specifically need to focus on and why.
From there, we will begin to gradually explore this, to make sense of what it all means to you and for you, and to facilitate your own insight into a way forward that's right for you.
