About me and my therapy practice
I am a person centred counsellor with a diploma in existential counselling. If you are experiencing depression, anxiety or general problems in living my aim is to help you to explore and bring about change in a new, interesting and life-enhancing way.
Existential therapy may be helpful to people who lack direction or who have worked towards goals which they no longer find fulfilling. If you have been through a crisis, be it a bereavement or other unforeseen change in circumstances, so that you find life lacks meaning and direction, existential counselling may help to point the way forward.
We all develop ways of being to survive our complicated world but sometimes these become restrictive and benefit from exploration. Non directive and based in philosophy existential therapy gives the client authority over pace and direction.
My work is entirely dialogical and I believe it can be illuminating for those searching for new and exciting answers.
I am a registered and insured member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have worked for both Cruse (bereavement) and Mind (mental health), both well known organisations.
