About me and my therapy practice

I support you in healing from anxiety, nervous system dysregulation and trauma using a grounded, integrated approach that brings together psychotherapy, inner child work and somatic therapy. My work is designed to help you make sense of long-standing emotional patterns, reconnect with your inner world and feel safer in your body and your life.

Trauma-Aware and Nervous System-Informed

I specialise in supporting people with developmental, relational and complex trauma. This includes experiences like emotional neglect, chronic shame, lack of attunement in childhood, or a sense of never feeling truly safe or seen.

These early patterns often lead to difficulties in adulthood like anxiety, self-doubt, emotional shutdown, people-pleasing or a harsh inner critic. My work helps you understand these patterns as adaptations, not flaws, and supports you to gently shift them at the root.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and explore what’s really going on beneath the surface. I use a relational, integrative approach which means we look at how your past is still shaping your present especially in how you relate to yourself and others.

Inner Child Work

Inner child work helps us reconnect with the younger parts of ourselves that were shamed, ignored or emotionally overwhelmed. These parts often hold the key to deep emotional patterns especially shame, fear and unmet needs.

Somatic Therapy

Somatic therapy brings the body into the healing process. Trauma often lives in the body as tension, numbness or nervous system dysregulation. Through gentle practices, we learn to listen to the body’s signals and restore a sense of internal safety.

You’ll learn tools to regulate your nervous system, reconnect with your body, and come into the present moment. This kind of work supports lasting change because it addresses trauma at its root, not just in the mind, but in the body too.

Practice description

I offer a safe and confidential space to explore and resolve past experiences or current situations so you can be free of struggle and step into your authentic self. I work online via Zoom.

You'll get the most out of working with me if you're already on a journey of personal development or have had therapy before and want to move through your emotional blocks at a deeper level.

I offer one to one work as well as group therapy and workshops. My specialism is on working with all types of anxiety disorders, trauma and relationship difficulties.

My first session

In the first session we'll clarify what you need help with and create a plan of what we'll work on in the sessions. We'll talk through the different aspects of your life and identify the problem areas and difficulties. We'll then create a treatment plan and discuss the length of your therapy. There is also the opportunity to ask questions and check that we feel comfortable working together.

The first session is your opportunity to talk about what brings you to therapy and I'll explain a bit about how I work. It takes around an hour on zoom, we can then book further sessions from there.

What I offer

I offer a combination of talk therapy and body based somatic therapy for effective emotional healing. This approach allows you to develop a greater understanding of your emotional responses, patterns, and triggers. I also integrate mindfulness and embodiment practices to calm your nervous system and bring you back into balance and connection with yourself.

How I work

I offer a safe and confidential space to explore and resolve past experiences or current situations so you can be free of struggle and step into your authentic self. I work online, each session is an hour.

The first step is to set up a call to talk through what you're needing from therapy and to see if we're a good fit to work together. Send a message to get started or reach out if you have any questions.

My practice is LGBTQ+ friendly.

My first session

The first session is an assessment to understand what you're needing from therapy. We'll explore some of your past, your family situation and current circumstances to understand what you'd like to focus on in the sessions. The assessment takes around an hour on Zoom.

I offer a free initial telephone consultation to talk through what you're needing help with and to see if we're a good fit to work together.
