About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP Accredited Supervisor I have worked as a Supervisor for 13 years and a Counsellor for over 20 years.
My approach is Person Centred and I offer a professional overview of your work, together with guidance from an ethical and theoretical position as well as my many years of experience. It is important to me that you feel comfortable within our supervision sessions and able to work honestly and confidently with me so that you can, in turn, work well and successfully with your clients, secure in the knowledge that you are supported in all aspects of your work.
My work is based upon Michael Carroll’s model of supervision which utilises seven tasks: to set up a ‘learning relationship’; to teach; to evaluate; to monitor professional ethical issues; to counsel; to consult and also to monitor administrative aspects. I feel that working together with these tasks in mind will allow you to feel supported as you grow and develop within your work with your clients, with a feeling that you are always moving forwards.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to receive supervision.
