About me and my therapy practice
We are all encouraged these days to look after our physical health, but what about our emotional and mental health. If you are struggling with feelings of unhappiness, anxiety low self esteem or depression, counselling can help you to find a more authentic and fufilling way to live your life.
Have you been suffering for a long time listening to a very self critical voice and feeling that you are not good enough. I can help you begin to have more compassion for yourself and to start to believe in your untapped potential.
I believe that everything we need to find happiness is within us. Counselling can help us to tap into unlimited potential.
In your relationship, do you feel that there are unresolved issues? Do you feel stuck unhappy and that the spark between you has gone? I can help you start to feel more gratitude and appreciation of each other. Clients have said that after counselling their communication has improved so that they are better able to fulfil their own needs.
If you are a young person experiencing sadness or anxiety relating to school or university concerns, academic pressures , relationship issues or bullying I can help you.
I have had extensive experience dealing with bereavement. If you are feeling overwhelmed with grief and finding it difficult to move forward in your life I can help you manage the vast array of feeling you may be struggling to cope with. Clients have said that after counselling they were able to feel more at peace with their loss and were able to start to rebuild their lives.
I have worked in a drug and alcohol agency and have helped many clients struggling with addiction. I can help you rebuild your self esteem and develop your confidence.
Are you worried about your retirement.? Is the reality of retirement less promising than you hoped.? I can help you find a way through anxieties about the future, worries about your children and grandchildren.
Practice description
I have counselling rooms in Gants Hill near Ilford and Buckhurst Hill which offer good public transport links and parking facilities.
I also offer walk and talk sessions in a local park.
I am available for Zoom sessions, telephone counselling or home visits.
My first session
I will arrange our first visit over the phone or via email. During the first session I will do an assessment and we will discuss the areas you would like to focus on. I offer an initial contract of 6 weeks which we will review at the end of that time. After that you can choose to extend the sessions if you wish.

I work with adults , young people from 14 to 18 couples and retired people.
I have counselling rooms in Gants Hill and Buckhurst Hill which have easy access to public transport and parking facilities.
I also do walk and talk therapy in Valentines park in Gants Hill.
For anyone else either local or further afield I offer online work on Zoom, or phone counselling. I am also available for home visits.
My first session
I will arrange our first session over the phone or email. During the first session I will do an assessment and we will talk about the positive changes you would like to make during our counselling sessions. I will offer an initial contract for 6 weeks , the end of which you can choose to finish or to continue .
