About me and my therapy practice
I offer counselling and supervision.
I qualified in 2008 and work with adults and children; working mainly as a person-centred counsellor/psychotherapist, also offering CBT, mindfulness, play therapy and relaxation techniques to help a person resolve conflicts in their lives and allowing a person to move forward. This may be depression, bereavement, domestic abuse, addictions or behavioural problems.
Practice description
I offer a non-judgemental approach to explore any issues you may be having and stopping you moving forward in life.
For children I offer therapeutic play to help and engage them, offering sessions at their home being a familiar setting for them and I have an enhanced DBS.

Availability
Monday availability is throughout the day and Tuesday - Friday I have some evenings availability.
About me and my therapy practice
I work face-to-face, also telephone and online.
I am an experienced BACP Counsellor providing a safe and supportive professional environment in which supervisees may bring their client work, explore ethical issues and develop professionally.
I adopt an integrative, creative supervision approach using person-centred, CBT work. My supervision style follows Hawkins and Shohet approach as set out in 'Supervision in the Helping Professions'.
Since qualifying as a counsellor I have had private clients across all age groups and work in school settings. I hold a BSc (hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy (2017) and a Diplomas in Counselling (2008).
Practice description
My core is person-centred and I also work CBT, therapeutic play with young people, mindfulness, offering long-term and short-term counselling for solution focussed work with all ages.
I also work in schools and colleges, often using therapeutic play to engage the young persons.
I have worked with ex-offenders, addictions, DA, bereavement and mental health issues.
My first session
The first session would be for 30 minutes to establish whether we could work together - fee would be £25.
Following with 1hour @ £50 or 1.5 hours @ 75.00
We would agree and sign a contract, which can be reviewed at any time by the supervisee or supervisor.
