About me and my therapy practice
Senior Accredited psychotherapist, counsellor and supervisor working full-time from serviced offices in central Henley and online. Practice established over 10 years. Supporting individuals and couples on their unique journeys.
In my experience, the reasons why someone turns to professional support can be as varied and unique as we each are. Sometimes it comes from a significant change in personal circumstances, such as a relationship breakdown, bereavement or other life event.
For others, it might be prompted by concerns about their physical health, such as experiencing panic attacks, difficulty sleeping or other symptoms of stress.
Some simply feel that now is the right time for them to make some changes, perhaps feeling overwhelmed or stuck in situations or patterns of thought or behaviour.
Many have a support network of family or friends, yet recognise that a professional relationship outside their world offers a unique space to explore their experiences in confidence and without judgement.
At LKP Counselling, I offer my individual and couple clients such a relationship. I also provide supervision for other practising therapists.
Your Assurances
I hold an MA / Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling and am registered with UKCP, ACTO and hold BACP Senior Accreditation, having met their exacting standards of training and practise.
I have completed specialist training by the Online Therapy Institute to support my clients most effectively when working by video or telephone.
I have completed specialist training with The Gottman Institute (couple relationships), ChildLine, Cruse Bereavement Care and The Foundation for Infant Loss and a Diploma in Supervision.

About me and my therapy practice
I firmly believe in the value and importance of effective supervision for ethical practice and practitioner well-being - all in the best interests of our clients. I have been extremely fortunate in finding and working with exceptionally good supervisors who have supported me in processing and reflecting on my work, supported my development as a therapist and provided that essential observer position when working relationally with clients.
Having completed a year long training in Integrative Supervision at The Minster Centre which meets the training standards of UKCP and BACP, I am expanding this part of my practice.
If you would like to explore whether I might be a good fit for your supervision needs, please contact me by leaving a voice message or sending an email including the frequency of supervision you are seeking, your modality and contact information.
