  • Wellbeing of Mind & Soul

My guiding principle is to help you find peace of mind and stability in your life so that you can be yourself, feel more alive and grow in confidence - to find that 'home' within yourself.

I provide a free-from-judgement space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and ideas.

I prefer to focus on the person, more than the symptoms. I see many clients who come to me with anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. I help you to explore the reasons for your symptoms and guide you to re-discover your authentic self, whilst accessing inner wellbeing and a kinder mind.

Collaboratively, we can talk about what is troubling you, think about how your present way of living may have been impacted by earlier occurrences and created limiting thinking patterns, and come up with new and fresh ideas and perspectives so that you regain a sense of empowerment in your everyday life.

I am integrative counsellor which means I will adapt the therapy to meet your requirements using approaches from many therapeutic philosophies, including person-centred talking counselling, creative/CBT activities, nature-based walk and talk therapy and mindfulness relaxation techniques. You might even get to the point where a coaching approach is more beneficial which can be integrated.

The goal of our initial meeting is to establish a rapport and make working together enjoyable.

The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy has me as a registered, active member. I am properly insured and operate in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
