About me and my therapy practice
I work in the Chew Valley, south of Bristol.
My approach is person-centred and relational, integrating various therapeutic models appropriate to the particular needs of each individual client.
I offer both short term and open ended counselling for adults and my style is warm, interactive and reflective.
I have 30 years experience of working in NHS settings and private practice, seeing clients with a wide range of issues. This includes anxiety, depression, loss, bereavement, abuse, self esteem and relationship/family issues and general or work related stress.
I am also a qualified supervisor of counsellors.
I believe that it is important to choose a therapist who is right for you and am happy to discuss any questions you may have over the phone prior to arranging a meeting.
An initial session provides an opportunity to explore your issues and needs and to plan any further counselling if and as required.
